911 Services
TLC is a primary provider of 911 emergency
medical services to the citizens of Balch Springs, Seagoville and southeast Dallas County. To provide the highest level of service, our Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICUs) are each staffed by a Texas-certified paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and they're stationed at the two local fire stations in each city we serve. Crews are trained in advanced airway management, medication administration and monitoring, I.V. therapy, EKG and 12 lead monitoring, and cardiac support including defibrillation and pacing. They're skilled at dealing with all medical emergencies, and their goal is to stabilize patients prior to handing them off to hospital personnel.

Emergent Care Transport
When patients require Advanced Life Support, a more advanced level of medical intervention, TLC Ambulance's MICU ambulances provide immediate transport within Dallas and Collin counties. Our paramedics and EMTs can respond within a few short minutes for Emergent Care Transport calls, because we realize the critical nature of these situations.

Critical Care Transport
In addition to providing 911 service and Emergent Care Transport, TLC offers Critical Care Transport for medically complex patients. Our critical care vehicle is staffed by certified critical care paramedics who utilize advanced equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pumps, ventilators, invasive monitoring devices and lines, and other medical devices found in intensive care and critical care settings. It's important to know that the ambulance company you choose is able to handle the most complex patient cases.

Non-Emergent Transport
Our team of certified EMTs provides TLC Ambulance's Non-Emergent Transport (Basic Life Support), which can be scheduled in advance or on an emergent basis. These units provide emergency response with paramedic backup and intercept as well as inter-facility transports. The EMTs who provide Basic Life Support transports are trained in basic airway management, bleeding control, CPR, orthopedic care, managing allergic reactions, and assisting with the delivery of newborns, plus much more.
Non-Emergent Transport is commonly use for:
Local emergency room visits and discharges
Trips to and from nursing care facilities
Transfer to specialty or rehabilitative hospitals
Transfer to specialty or rehabilitative hospitals
Transfer from one hospital to another for advanced medical attention
Trips to and from dialysis and radiation centers
Trips to and from doctors' offices

While these situations are non-emergent, they still require a high degree of patient care, skillfully and compassionately provided by the TLC team.
